Using an AI Chatbot as an Assistant

What is an AI Chatbot?

AI chatbots learn from human inputs through machine learning and are able to take text from a prompt on a website and generate knowledge on a topic or provide accurately depicting images.

Chatting to an AI or artificial intelligence chatbot is intuitive and simply writing what’s on your mind can provide insight on any given topic or generate time saving and innovative images.

If you visit a site like ChatGPT you will soon realise the wealth of information that can be obtained.

Visiting a site like Microsoft Copilot will allow you to get accurately depicted images from your text input.

What is AI Content?

AI Chatbots can assist with many things, such as creating a headline, a title, content or images. AI content is simply content provided by a chatbot that it has learnt.

As AI technology is relatively new, AI content has room for growth and might seem like a breath of fresh air. However, it should however only be used to assist with your blog, rather than copying slabs of text from it.

Does Google Allow AI Content?

Google doesn’t currently specifically penalise a site for using AI, but will penalise AI spam content.

In the past Google came from a period where unethical sites could gain traction in SERP’s or search engine results pages quite easily, to now such websites having lost such ranking, with quality content taking priority.

With the flooding of more AI content be aware of Google adapting its algorithm here too.

Using AI

For Content

Using AI to assist with articles you are working on, rather than write them will help your blog in the long run.

Perhaps you have a wealth of general knowledge on one or many linked topics and want to refine the core topics that you’re going to delve deeper into.

Or maybe you already have the topics at hand and want AI to help contribute to the accuracy of the topic you are working on and to check if you’ve missed something.

AI content can help in these types of situations.

For Images

Two examples of AI models that can create images from text input are the free option, Microsoft Co-pilot and a paid option, DALL-E.

AI generated images are created dynamically and so avoid copyright concerns when using them on your blog.

Case Study

An example of how to use AI to generate content and images for your blog if your topic was, for example, airfryer recipes.

By texting to ChatGPT “top 10 ideas for airfryer breakfast recipes” this response was generated.

These ideas could be used on your blog as content ideas.

By texting Microsoft Copilot “a cartoon of a person in the form of an airfryer” the image below was generated.

An image such as this could be used for a featured image or to add media to a post.

Conclusion

AI chatbots are very useful to use for content or images for our purposes. AI content should however only be used to assist, rather than to copy slabs of text from.
